ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for an experienced and proactive Logistics Operation Supervisor to drive our freight forwarding operations. In this role, you will lead a team of logistics operators, ensure operational excellence across all transportation modes, and serve as the key point of both customers and internal stakeholders. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Team Leadership & Operations Management Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Logistics Operators to ensure smooth daily operations across all freight modes (air, ocean, trucking, express, and multimodal). Assign tasks, set priorities, and monitor team performance Conduct regular team reviews, performance reviews, and pro[联系方式已隐藏] coaching to develop team capabilities. Identify process gaps and implement improvements to increase operational efficiency and accuracy. Freight Operations Oversee and manage end-to-end import and export international air and ocean freight operations. Monitor all inbound and outbound shipments daily; proactively resolve delays, exceptions, and escalations. Coordinate with carriers, agents, and customs brokers to ensure timely and compliant movement of goods. Supervise the dispatch of outbound shipments and maintain strong relationships with truck operators and transport partners. Customer & Stakeholder Management Act as the primary escalation point for key customers, resolving issues promptly and maintaining high satisfaction levels. Build and sustain strong relationships with customers, carriers, and internal teams to drive long-term business retention. Reporting & Compliance Prepare operational performance reports to management, highlighting KPIs, trends, and improvement areas. Ensure all operations comply with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and company policies. Assist management with ad hoc projects, process documentation, and cross-functional initiatives as required. REQUIREMENTS Experience & Knowledge Minimum 5 years of experience in freight forwarding or international logistics operations. At least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead capacity within a logistics or freight forwarding environment. Solid knowledge of air and ocean freight, incoterms, customs procedures, and multimodal transportation. Familiarity with logistics management systems and freight documentation (AWB, B/L, commercial invoices, packing lists). Skills & Competencies Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop people. Problem-solving and decision-making abilities, especially under pressure or in time-sensitive situations. Superior time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a continuous improvement orientation.
