Part-Time Quantity Surveyor / Estimator We are a medium-sized commercial interior fit-out company seeking an experienced part-time Quantity Surveyor / Estimator. Key responsibilities: Prepare estimates, tenders and quantity take-offs Obtain and assess subcontractor and supplier quotations Prepare variations, progress claims and final accounts Monitor project costs and coordinate with the project team Requirements: Minimum three years’ Quantity Surveying experience Commercial interior fit-out experience preferred Strong estimating and cost-management skills Proficiency in Excel, CostX, Bluebeam or similar software Good communication and organisational skills Must be a New Zealand permanent resident or citizen Working hours: Standard hours are 9:00 am–3:00 pm. During busy periods, additional hours of up to 8:00 am–5:00 pm may be offered by mutual agreement, depending on workload. Key responsibilities: Prepare accurate kitchen and custom joinery shop drawings Conduct measurements and confirm dimensions Coordinate with clients, suppliers, factory staff and onteams Review architectural drawings and material specifications Resolve design and installation issues Requirements: Experience in kitchen and joinery detailing Proficiency in AutoCAD, Cabinet Vision, SketchUp or similar software Good knowledge of joinery materials, hardware and construction Strong communication skills and attention to detail Must be a New Zealand permanent resident or citizen Employment: Full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension or permanent employment subject to ongoing project requirements.
