Merchandiser / StockController The Aotea Group isthe leading Tourist Retailer in New Zealand. We are passionate aboutsharing NZ with our customers. We haveseven stores throughout New Zealand and an online store, and all operate 7 days per week, 365 days per yearfrom 9.30 am to 10 pm. We are looking fora person to take up the positionof Merchandiser / Stock Controller in Aotea Gifts Auckland fromOctober 2026 until March 2027. This is a multifaceted and dynamic role in avery busy multicultural environment. Duties in the role include: - Toensure all incoming goods are addressed to Aotea Gifts before signing with thecourier - Tocheck the incoming goods match the Purchase Order and Invoices from supplies - To assist and coordinate stock out with Duty Managers and the StoreBuyer - Tokeep the storeroom clean and tidy and ensure shelves are labelled - Tomonitor returns and liaise with the Store Buyer and Suppliers toensure collection or return - To merchandise the products onthe shop floor and stock out - To pack parcels to be pickedup by the courier companies and delivered to our customers To apply for thisrole you need: - Previous experience ina retail environment - Strongattention to detail - Proventime management and planning skills - Some physical labor is required, but the goods generally do not exceed 20kg. - Basic English communication - A valid work visa is required. Our business requiressome flexibility as we are operational 13 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 daysof the year.
